Status checker FAQ

Concise answers for players and server owners using this ServerBuddy utility.

Can this checker ping any Minecraft server address?

Yes. It checks public Minecraft Java and Bedrock addresses from ServerBuddy infrastructure. Private, local and internal network addresses are blocked for safety.

What status fields can ServerBuddy show?

A server profile can show online state, players online, max slots, version, edition, MOTD, uptime history, latency and the last successful poll time.

Does ServerBuddy treat offline, unknown and zero players differently?

Yes. Zero players means the server was online and empty, offline means the check failed or the server did not respond, and unknown means there was no reliable data for that bucket.
