How do I join a Minecraft Java server?
Open Minecraft Java Edition, choose Multiplayer and Add Server, then paste the address and any listed custom port. Confirm the required client version and mods with the operator. The version evidence on a profile is not a login test.
What is the difference between Java and Bedrock servers?
Java Edition runs on PC and uses the TCP server-list status protocol; Bedrock Edition runs on consoles, mobile and Windows and uses RakNet. They are not directly cross-compatible, so ServerBuddy separates listings by the protocol that answered. A successful status response still does not guarantee login access.
