Minecraft Bedrock Edition Servers FAQ

Common questions about finding and joining servers in this collection.

How do I join a Minecraft Bedrock server?

On Bedrock, open the Servers tab, scroll to Add Server, then enter the address and port shown on the listing. ServerBuddy displays the port whenever it is not the Bedrock default so you can connect first time.

What is the difference between Java and Bedrock servers?

Java Edition runs on PC and uses the TCP server-list ping; Bedrock Edition runs on consoles, mobile and Windows and uses the RakNet protocol. They are not cross-compatible, so this page shows only Bedrock servers your client can actually join.

Are Bedrock servers on ServerBuddy free to play?

Yes - every Bedrock server listed is a public world you can join for free. Browsing and searching ServerBuddy is also free and needs no account.
