How ServerBuddy Works
ServerBuddy is a public Minecraft server discovery site built from live status telemetry. It organizes tracked servers by edition, version, mode and activity so players can compare worlds before copying an IP.
How we collect server data
ServerBuddy uses public Minecraft server-list pings. Profiles are built from online state, current players, capacity, MOTD, version, latency, icon data and uptime history returned by the server.
How rankings work
Ranking pages use measurable signals: current players, recent average players, weekly peaks, uptime and freshness. Paid placement is not part of the ranking formula.
What Recommended means
The Recommended sort balances live population, recent peaks and uptime. It is meant to surface worlds that are active and reliable, not only the largest networks.
No paid placement
Adding a server is free. ServerBuddy does not sell sponsored list positions, paid banners or boosted profile placements in the public discovery experience.
How to report wrong data
Player counts, versions and categories can be wrong when a server reports unusual status text or changes setup. Use the contact link in the footer and include the server address plus what looks wrong.
How to remove or update a listing
ServerBuddy indexes public, joinable servers from public telemetry. If a listing should be removed, merged or corrected, send the server address and the requested change so the listing can be reviewed.
